Crumb Coat 8-Cups – White Cream Cheese Icing

Ingredients:

  • 32 oz of cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 8 oz of butter (room temperature)
  • 3 drops of purple food coloring
  • 800 grams of powdered sugar

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, mix together room-temperature cream cheese and butter until as combined as possible. 
  2. Add two drops of purple food coloring to the mixture.
  3. Gradually add β…“ of the powdered sugar and whisk. Repeat with the next β…“, and continue until all the powdered sugar is fully incorporated.
  4. If the icing isn’t white enough, add the last drop of purple food coloring to eliminate any yellow tint.
  5. Chill the icing and lather it onto your cake!
